Batam, Indonesia, March 26, 2019 – Earth Hour is a worldwide movement for the planet organised by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). The event is held worldwide annually encouraging individuals, communities, households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights for one hour, as a symbol for their commitment to the planet. This one-hour event continues to be a key driver of a larger sustainability movement by Montigo Resorts, Nongsa.
As the whole world will have their lights turned off on 30 March, Montigo Resorts invites our guests to participate in an Earth Hour event where a 60+ Earth Hour symbol will be arranged with candles in Sand Park. In light of raising awareness for this lights-off event, TADD’s Restaurant will be organising an Earth Hour BBQ dinner, where a fraction of our proceeds will go to a sustainability project initiated by Montigo Resorts.
